Job Summary:
Mixology Clothing Company is looking for an E-Commerce Marketing Intern or Co-op for the Spring of 2025. This role offers hands-on experience in the fast-paced fashion industry, working closely with our E-Commerce team on website projects, content creation, performance tracking, and brand-building initiatives. About our Internship/Co-op Program:
Each season, a cohort of 3-5 talented and motivated individuals are invited to join our team as interns/co-ops, and fully immerse themselves in our growing business! This is a paid opportunity, with interns working part-time, and co-ops full time!
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the E-Commerce and Marketing team on digital projects, enhancing our website and backend systems for a seamless customer experience.
- Assist in planning and executing weekly E-Commerce and lifestyle photoshoots, including both in-office and off-site locations, to create visually engaging content.
- Support the Social Media Manager in content creation for platforms like Instagram and TikTok, focusing on brand-aligned, trend-driven content.
- Track and analyze performance metrics across digital platforms to optimize marketing strategies and drive growth.
- Participate in weekly creative meetings led by senior leaders, contributing ideas and learning the strategic aspects of brand development.
- Gain insight into the full business flow, from product arrival in our warehouse to its journey to the retail floor, to understand the logistics of e-commerce.
- Handle additional ad hoc tasks and projects, providing support wherever needed to meet team goals and objectives.
Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of our brand and target audience, with a keen interest in the fashion industry.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency with social media platforms, particularly TikTok and Instagram, and an eye for identifying and adapting to emerging trends.
- Previous experience in content creation (professional or personal) with a portfolio or examples to demonstrate your skills.
- Ability to work well within a team environment, networking across departments, and supporting various team members effectively.
- Friendly and positive attitude, with a proactive approach to learning and problem-solving.
- Experience with Shopify and familiarity with Mix U or similar platforms is a plus, though not required.
This is an experience for anyone looking to advance in a career in fashion and get real world experience. Following this internship/co-op, those qualified may be invited to interview for full-time job opportunities.
This Program will run from January through May at our Home Office in Lynbrook, NY - under an hour from NYC!
